Since we’re going down computational memory lane. Augusta Ada Lovelace (wow what a name) makes me wonder how the tech world has been affected by the dominance of male thought. Our expectations around gender is once again holding us back as a species. Are we truly heading into a technoligical future with such a limited way of interpreting the world. There should be more women programming (period). And please don’t excuse it on the usual. Just realize there is untapped genius laying in wait. This of course also accounts for the technological geniuses unaccounted for across the oppressed manscape.
Schools are failing us by ignoring the need for code to be a requirement like the other sciences and with that avoiding an opportunity to help better balance history among all those who create it. Sorry having a moment.
